Bill Payment/Bill Presentment

With Online Bill Pay, you can:

  • Send payments to anyone in the United States – large business, such as your phone company, a small business, or a friend – anyone you would normally pay with a paper check.
  • Set up recurring, occasional, or one-time payments. With just a few clicks, you can schedule a payment to pay at a future date, or you can schedule a recurring payment – an auto or insurance payment for example – to be paid on the same day for the same amount every month and never have to worry about it again!
  • Receive bills electronically from leading merchants.

Overdraft Protection

Overdraft protection is a non-contractual courtesy service that may be available for certain types of accounts after being open for 30 days.  This service is provided to qualifying eligible accounts to pay insufficient items.   The First National Bank of Emory does not encourage irresponsible customer financial behavior or overdrafts but we do understand that an occasional mistake might happen. We are not obligated to pay any item presented for payment if your account does not contain sufficient collected funds.

An insufficient balance may result from:

  • The payment of checks, electronic funds transfers, automatic bill payments, ATM transactions, everyday debit card transactions or other withdrawal requests or payments authorized by you
  • The returned, unpaid, of items deposited by you
  • The imposition of bank service charges
  • The deposit of items, which, according to the Bank’s Funds Availability Policy, are treated as not yet “available” or finally paid

You must opt-in to be able to use Overdraft Protection. The service costs you nothing unless you use it, you will then be charged a fee of $28 per transaction (created by check, in-person withdrawal, ATM withdrawal, or other electronic means). Just continue to make regular deposits to your account- sufficient to bring your account back to a positive balance at least once every 30 days.  Overdraft fees are capped at 6 transactions per day.  Payments of overdrafts are entirely discretionary and are a non-contractual courtesy on the part of our bank. The bank may refuse to approve overdrafts at any time if the account is not being maintained in good standing.

Safe Deposit Boxes

Secure your valuables by storing them in a safe deposit box*. Various box sizes are available for annual rental fees at both locations.
